About our Client

Starting out as a consultant in 2014, Gaëlle Delmas-Watson specialised in virtual classroom design and support.  Responding to the increased and critical customer need for professional and effective online meetings, as well as learning experiences, Gaelle has developed and grown the business.

Expanding the remit to include webinars and conferences, the SyncSkills team design and facilitate virtual and hybrid events, enabling training providers and corporate businesses to offer seamless solutions for their global audience.

The Brief

As part of SyncSkills efforts to support more organisations, in Autumn 2021 they invested in a high profile CIPD event at Olympia and all the business assets needed to showcase their expertise on a global stage.

From brand development through to website design, event stand design and everything in between…

Gaëlle Delmas-Watson and her multi-lingual team needed a single supplier that understood the challenges that exist within a small business, and would be able to manage the full branding and communications project from start to finish.

This is where Rethink came in…

Working Together

Brand Development

Having been awarded the project, we started at the beginning with brand development.  With a deep understanding of the audience, business objectives and a design brief, we developed new branding to showcase SyncSkills commitment to excellence and positive virtual learning and communication.

The final logo showcases the brand initials organically shaped like a tree.  The purpose of the tree was to represent how we learn, beginning with a single root thought, converting into multiple branches as it spreads through our memory system.

The logo was supported by a series of icons, font recommendations and a full colour palette.

Once the branding had been approved, it was translated across all of their communications, in preparation for the Festival of Work event.

Website Development

With an understanding of SyncSkill’s audience and the team’s design preferences we designed a fully responsive website from the ground up.  Fast and easy to navigate the new website showcases the scope of SyncSkill’s services using clearly laid out pages, with strategically placed testimonials and calls-to-action.  We also created an online video demonstrating how a virtual producer can add value to online training.

Graphic Design and Print

Using SyncSkill’s own content, we designed and printed a range of assets for use at the Festival of Work Event and beyond.

These included a white paper (With accompanying digital data capture form), business cards, a series of mini brochures, presentation slides, event programme ads and the actual event stand itself, which needed to be simple to put together and lightweight for easy transportation.  SyncSkills are always looking to minimise their environmental impact so sustainability was a key consideration throughout the print management process.

Promotional Merchandise

Last but not least, to showcase the SyncSkills brand in their virtual environment, we  created some mugs featuring the brand logo alongside the simple but very appropriate message ‘You’re on Mute’.

It was a joy to take the SyncSkills brand from the start of their growth journey to where they are today. They’ve already become one of the leading go-to production and support solutions for virtual classrooms and events, managing single training sessions, right through to hybrid conferences that span international borders.

Justin Drayton, Managing Director, Rethink

“One of the key things that set Rethink apart was their understanding of the challenges that we face as small business owners.  Due to other commitments, I wasn’t always able to give the marketing development project the attention that it needed, but Justin’s patience, gentle nudges and exceptional project management ensured that all final deadlines were met and that we had a hugely successful show at Olympia. I can’t thank Rethink enough for getting us this far on our journey and we look forward to working with you for many years to come.”
